The first Boeing airplane, the B & W (William Boeing and George Westervelt), was completed in June 1916. It was made of wood, linen, and wire. Similar to the Martin trainer that Boeing owned, the B & W had, among other improvements, better pontoons and a more powerful engine. This meticulously hand-crafted wood model, was produced with full cooperation of The Boeing Company. Stand included.
