Tap control for talk-through communication can be utilized by double-tapping the earcups. Pilots can also remove and mount the boom mic and down cable on either side of the headset without using any tools. The improved down cable is lighter and more flexible for easier movement and storage. Finally, the headset has an improved carrying case with internal zippered storage and padded sides for extra protection.
